If you need to carry out official procedures in a country where the language is not the same as the country where the birth certificate was issued, you must present a certified translation of the birth certificate.<\/p>

However, we always recommend requesting information from the administration or body in the requesting country to check whether a sworn translation is necessary.<\/p>

These sworn translations must be translated by translators authorised by the<\/strong> Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/a><\/span> to guarantee their veracity and legality before any official body.<\/p>

These must include the\u00a0stamp and signature of the sworn translator authorised<\/strong>\u00a0by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
